SPRING/SUMMER 2025 INTERN - SOCIAL MEDIA
Would you like to gain advertising agency experience while working towards your degree and get paid for it!? We're looking for a motivated student to join the Krush team's social media department for the remainder of the spring semester and through the summer. You will gain exclusive, well-rounded social media management experience representing multiple brands across different industries.
This is a 100% in-office internship.
About KRUSH:
We’re a full-service advertising agency offering great benefits, generous time off, and a supportive team environment. Compensation is competitive and based on experience—agency experience is a definite plus! We are 100% in-office with occasional work-from-home opportunities.
What You Will Do:
- Assist Krush's Social Media Manager in content calendar planning, strategy, writing captions, engagement, and developing reels/TikToks.
- Help manage Krush's social media accounts.
- Brainstorm social media campaign ideas.
- Monitor trends across various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
- Analyze analytics to gauge the success of organic social media efforts.
Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
- Learn and become proficient in Krush's internal project management software and processes.
- Learn Sprout Social.
- Assist in creating performance reports.
Social Media Intern Qualifications / Skills:
- Content creation (editing reels with existing content, social quality photography/video).
- Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback.
- Creativity.
- Strong writing skills.
- Verbal communication.
- Organization.
- Professionalism.
- Customer focus.
Required Time Commitment:
- Spring Semester: 12-15 hrs. per week.
- Summer: 24-32 hrs. per week

What You Will Do:
- Serve as the go-to person for all aspects of account management. Ensuring seamless communication internally and externally, managing expectations, overseeing projects/budgets, client relationships, and reporting.
- Collaborate with our project management department to manage scopes of work, including both project-based assignments and ongoing retainers.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and billing to ensure efficient delivery of work.
- Lead client meetings, foster strong partnerships, and provide strategic, solutions-driven guidance.
- Understand the interworkings of an ad agency and be able to effectively communicate across departments to leverage team strengths and resources.
- Identify process improvements and efficiencies to maximize outcomes.
- Proactively support clients with forward-thinking solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years in account management (advertising agency experience preferred).
- Relationship Builder: Strong ability to connect with clients and foster trust.
- Leadership Skills: Confident in managing meetings and handling client communications.
- Presentation Savvy: Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
- Strategic, Foreward Thinker: Ability to listen to a client's needs and provide options/solutions that fall within an existing SOW or identify upselling opportunities.
- Problem Solver: Quick on your feet and adept at creative thinking.
- Organized Team Player: Highly organized and collaborative in a team setting.
